Meet Our Heads and Deputies

Welcome back to the start of new school year! We are delighted to announce our Year 6 Heads and Deputies. Congratulations to our new Head Boy, Harry Schmidt, and our new Head Girl, Isla Slade. They will be supported by Deputy Head Boy and Girl, Will Farrar and Eloise Eastwood.

Breakfast Club is Back!

Our breakfast club is back! Cereal, toast, fruit and juice is provided each morning between 7.30am and 8.00am for £3 per child, with bacon and sausage butties on a Friday. All served with a smile by Miss D.

 

Announcing Our Leadership Team

Here is our new Leadership Team voted for by Westville pupils. They were treated to a special day trip to London to visit Buckingham Palace, where they visited the staterooms and gardens. The children had an amazing experience and were a credit to the school.

New After School Clubs Announced

We have a host of exciting new After School Clubs for this term including Clay Club, Hockey Club, Theatre Club, Street Dance Club, Board Games and Baking Bootcamp. Email hub@westvillehouseschool.co.uk to sign up!

Parents Muck In for Tough Mudder!

A massive shout out to all parents and friends who completed the 10m, 25 obstacle Tough Mudder this summer at Broughton Hall. Team Tequila Shots raised a massive £3,580 for the new Westville Playground and Barnardo’s. Great work team!

New Baby, Parent and Toddler Groups Now Running

Our Woodlands nursery is running two external clubs this year for parents and little ones. Shake Rattle and Roll is a new Baby Group running every Monday between 9.30am and 10.30am and Gym Tots is a fun parent and toddler group running every Thursday from 1.30pm to 3.00pm. A Visit From The Mayor

We had an extra special school assembly with a visit from The Ilkley Town Mayor, Cllr Mark Stidworthy. The children loved hearing all about how he looks after the local community.

Pre-Prep Enjoy Their New Playground Markings

Our bright, new playground markings are going down a treat with the kids this week including an agility course, hop scotch, mirror me and an alphabet game. Watch this space for more exciting playground improvements this term!
