Headteacher's Welcome
At Westville we lay the foundations for every child to begin a successful educational journey. We nurture, support and challenge young people in a values-driven family atmosphere and I am passionate about celebrating all their creativity, ingenuity and achievements. We achieve excellent academic results and develop well-rounded pupils ready for their next step in the world. I encourage you visit the school to meet with me and savour the Westville “Buzz.”

F1 explored human skeletons this week in science with Mrs Naylor. They began by putting together a skeleton and labelling it and then moved on to investigating whether people with longer femurs can jump further than people with shorter femurs. Amazing work Form 1!

Science with Mrs Naylor!
F3 explored levers this week to complete their topic on forces. The children have worked incredibly well in their practical experiments and taken great care when writing up their findings.
Well done all!!

PP2 had a messy time fine tuning those fine motor skills to make Christmas biscuits.
It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!
Thank you Chef!

PP2 were enthralled to listen to a talk by Mrs Gupta about Christmas in Spain, as part of their Christmas around the world project.
Lots of hands up for some very considered questions! Thank you Mrs Gupta, your visit brought the topic to life!

PP4 had a wonderful time planting bulbs in their designated class secret garden planter with Miss Williamson.
The children are looking forward to spring already!
We are extremely grateful for over 4 acres of beautiful grounds for the children to enjoy. From our fabulous woodland and stream, which is very popular during Forest School classes, to our sports fields, outdoor classrooms, field to fork space plus our playground areas - just a perfect environment for our youngsters to thrive.
