Children spread a little kindness...
The School Kindness Trust visited Westville House this week and spent a morning workshop with the children.
Westville children spent a morning working with the School Kindness Trust learning about a little girl who had no friends and had no-one to attend her 10th birthday party. They all made her cards which the Trust took away to give to her.
Greig Trout from The Kindness Trust said “These workshops aim to empower children by helping them realise that the little choices they make every day can make a big difference in the world. The Westville children have been absolutely incredible and the messages they have sent to this little girl were truly beautiful and heartfelt.”
Mr Ian Shuttleworth, Headmaster, commented “We are delighted to have The Kindness Trust here at Westville. They delivered some excellent messages to the children and adults about a subject which is so important and which can have a huge impact on someone’s life. We very much regard this as part of the learning curriculum at Westville to ensure every child is well rounded.”
