White Rose Rugby Easter Camp

We are delighted to announce that White Rose Rugby will once again be running a series of their wonderful sports camps for us this Easter.

Easter Camp details:
Cost £35 per day or £125 for all 4 days per child.
Your child/children will need to bring their own drink, packed lunch, suitable training shoes/boots for both indoor/outdoor and sun cream if required.
A little bit about White Rose Rugby.
White Rose Rugby provide clubs and schools with experienced, dedicated, professional coaching personnel with the skills and expertise to deliver quality rugby coaching at all levels, from Primary and Secondary School to Club rugby.
They believe that a high quality of coaching delivery is essential to ensure both the growth and sustainability of rugby whilst keeping players/pupils engaged and developing. Whether delivering in Primary or Secondary schools they always ensure that all sessions are comprehensively planned, based on players abilities and that their development is measurable and reportable.
All coaches at White Rose Rugby have a minimum qualification of Level 2 in Rugby but most have significantly more qualifications in rugby, teaching or sports management as well as up-to-date DBS clearance and relevant first aid training. All Schools coaches are also required to have completed the additional RFU Rugby Union in Secondary Schools course.
All camps are run and coached by RFU qualified staff from White Rose Rugby who have enhanced DBS coverage. All camps are approved by RFU safeguarding and Yorkshire RFU.
The camps will a have wide range of sporting activities for the participants and these will be done in a fun and enjoyable environment.
A typical day:
9.00 – 9.30 – Registration, ‘free play’ and introductions.
9.30 -9.45 (T.R.E.D.S core values presentation)
9.45 – 10.30: Sporting activity 1
10.30 – 11.00: Sporting game play (linked to activity 1)
11.00 – 11.20: ‘Relaxed’ snack time.
11.20 – 11.40: ‘Free/ choice time.
11.40 – 12.20: Game play/ Activity 3
12.20 – 12:30 (Pre-lunch hand hygiene/ sanitisation of eating area)
12.30 – 13.00 ‘Relaxed’ lunch eating time.
13:00 – 13:15: Quiz/ game time eg: Equivalence of Simon Says etc..
13:15 — 13.30 ‘Free/ choice time’
13:30 – 14:30 Activity 4.
14:30 – 14:45 Snack/ Drinks
14:45 – 15:00 ‘Free/ choice time’
15:00 – 15:45 Activity 5
15:45 – 16:00 Tidy up time/ prepare for parental pick up.
16:00 – Pick up time.
